  • Queen's Park Healthcare Foundation's new website

  • It's been somewhat long overdue, but due to the leadership of Foundation Director, Duncan Renyard, our new site is up and operationally.

Over time the site will be experiencing some growing pains; however, the Board and staff of Queen's Park Care Centre all look forward to a Successful means to not only communicate what's going on but also a means to encourage direct donor activity.

Special thanks to Aries Suswendi, who designed and produced this site.

  • 'Putting' fun back into fundraising - 2007 Pot of Gold Golf Tournament

  • The Royal City Rotary Club once again hosted the McQuarrie Hunter Pot of Gold Charity Golf Tournament on September 21, 2007

Fortunately the inclement weather didn't dampen any of the golfer's spirits.  There were plenty of prizes as well as a live auction and jar auction all in support of the local charities.

The net proceeds, which are close to $25,000, are equally shared by the Royal City Rotary (local youth initiatives), Queen's Park Healthcare Foundation

(2nd Floor Maple Room project) and new this year, the Tim Hortons Children's Foundation.

  • The 2nd Floor Maple Room project benefits from The Rotary Club of New Westminster

  • The Rotary Club of New Westminster recently donated $5,500.00 towards the redevelopment of the Maple Room.  Located on the 2nd floor, the Room is in need

of updating.  The plan not only calls for the improvement of space utilization but to also replace existing outdated appliances - to which the Rotary Club has specified their donation to.

Community support is critical to Queen's Park Healthcare Foundation and we gratefully acknowledge their support.

  • Gift Shop gets a facelift in November

  • Coordinated by Volunteer Services Manager, Michelle Veniot and chaired by Foundation Director, Nick Jordan,  the Gift Shop will be closed for the month of November for a much needed face lift.  Not only will the Shop receive a new paint job, but new display areas (and items) will be part of the new look.

It's grand re-opening is set for early December - just in time for staff to purchase items for their family stockings!!!!
